  • Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), SC 2000, c. 5 — applies to our interprovincial and international commercial activities involving personal data.

Both laws require that personal information be collected only for identifiable purposes, with appropriate consent, and managed with reasonable care.

  • Legal obligations: We may disclose personal information when required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.
  • With your consent: For any other purpose, with your prior written consent.

7. Canadian Data Residency

All personal information collected through this website is stored and processed on servers located in Canada. We do not transfer personal data outside of Canada without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

This is a core commitment of our business: Canadian data stays in Canada. Our infrastructure partners are bound by Canadian privacy law and contractual obligations ensuring your information does not cross the border.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:

  • Contact form inquiries that do not result in an engagement: Retained for up to 24 months, then securely deleted.
  • Client records from completed engagements: Retained for up to 7 years following project completion, as required by Canadian tax and business records law.
  • Server access logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then automatically purged.

When personal information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
